Thrashion Zine issue 4 - Lucy Adams Tricks!

The guys over at Thrashion have launched an online monthly zine. It features a different article every month written by a rider / artist / creative dude.

This month I wrote a little piece about tricks! What I like about skateboarding and the tricks being a form of expression.

LA Rocks Thrashion Auction starts 1st August 2012

We're nearly ready to begin the LA x Thrashion auction!

On 1^st August 2012, the auction, which is hosted by Skatergirl International and Rubicon Skate camps, will go live!

The results of the shoot which will include Thrashion jewellery and Leo Sharps photographs - framed by Eat Art Picture Framing, will accompany five bundles of merchandise donated by sponsors such as Lovenskate, DC shoes, Faltown skateboards, SJz Skatestore, Nikita Clothing Company amongst others.

All proceeds raised will go to The Knock on Effect, Ella’s Memory, St Catherine’s Hospice and Penhaligon’s Friends charities.

LA X Thrashion Skateboard Jewellery Shoot Preview!

This weekend I was stoked to have taken part in a photoshoot for the LA X Thrashion Skateboard Jewellery collaboration. If you haven't seen the pieces check here .

The shoot took place down in Falmouth, Cornwall and I travelled down with Emma Richardson. On arrival, we met up with the some of the skaters from the Girls Skate Fal crew and skated the newly revamped Mount Hawke for a few hours.

The next day, first stop was the Boat Moulds in Penryn! After cleaning out the boat and gaffer taping a new sign over the hole in the bottom, we got straight on it.

Then we moved to the legendary Playing Place but just after we got there, the heavens opened. We shot some photos of the jewellery, got cold and then hit up the DC Showroom for some fresh threads :)

After that we headed to Truro Plaza, did a bit of filming and one final shot! What a rad day!!

The next day we went on a mini trip to Stithians Skatepark....

A Micra is not the ideal Skate Trip car!!

So, the results of the shoot will be auctioned for charity more details to come so definitely watch this space :)

With my Lovenskate / Carharrt Tea-riffic Board, Nat hancrafted both this beautiful belt buckle and also a custom LA pendant :)

Together, Nat and I are going to stage an action/product photo shoot in Cornwall with results to be auctioned for charity! More on this to follow :)
